MyHealthNote Upgrades to Clinical Grade Medical Imaging Storage
This breakthrough in medical imaging is a powerful new instrument for local research leadership. By providing access to a platform that handles everything from a community member’s smartphone photo to a hospital’s DICOM scan, we empower researchers in developing regions to lead comprehensive, context-rich studies. This tool allows our network of local health experts to design and own projects that blend clinical data with real-world evidence, turning diverse local data into globally significant insights and driving impactful, self-determined health solutions.

MyHealthNote has completed a major infrastructure upgrade, replacing its previous base64 image system with a secure, scalable Amazon S3 storage solution. This upgrade finally supports true clinical-grade imaging, from high-resolution smartphone photos to complex DICOM files like MRIs and CT scans.

This technical leap directly empowers our global network of researchers, or "Fodirs." They are no longer limited by basic imaging technology. They can now design and lead sophisticated studies that integrate hospital-grade scans with real-world community photos, all on a single, secure platform.

The result is a democratization of research capability. Local teams in developing regions can now generate the high-fidelity, context-rich data needed to address local health challenges with global rigor. This turns their unique, on-the-ground insights into validated, internationally significant knowledge, shifting the balance of research leadership and creating more equitable health solutions.
